Home Works handles small jobs to large new builds and whole house remodels. Our offerings include project management services and hard bid projects. Typically the smaller jobs we take on will be offered as a bid for the entire project to be completed. The larger jobs will fall under project management. We will work with you to determine what is best for your situation. What's the difference? Read below:
Bid Projects
- Usually done for smaller remodels and small construction projects.
- We add up the costs, add in some profit and give you an estimate with the details provided for what your project will cost to complete.
- Depending on the job, we may take a small deposit up front or we may not require any money up front to start the job.
- We have a small agreement that outlines the work we will complete. It will be signed by you and Home Works to make sure everyone is on the same page.
- We complete the work to your satisfaction.
Project Management
- Usually done for large remodel projects and/or new construction.
- We work with you to manage and run your project to ensure your build operates as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
- Home Works coordinates with all sub contractors, architects, engineers, etc. and oversees their progress.
- Planning, budgeting and project tracking is part of the service.
- All large items/subs are bid out to make sure you are receiving the best pricing we can find while also ensuring quality.
- Fully transparent process - you will have access to all invoices, receipts and bids so you know exactly where your money is being spent.
- We charge a (reasonable and transparent) fee for management and you pay actual costs with no mark-up to the subs.
